Most of the time, his area was a mess of technology scraps and wires. Though it wasn't this time. The occupant had sorted everything into neat containers, bins, and whatnot. There was a desk in the corner with an uneven pile of hand-drawn blueprints on it... Carefully sketched up anatomical drawings of several humanoid species, and detailed drawings of mechanical components.
There was yet another desk in another corner, someone was working on his own bionic additions and staring intensely into the mirror. He had just placed on a rather large lense with a click onto his face. Another one of it was resting on the desk with numerous cracks. It was hard to tell what expression he had, as it looked blank due to concentration. He set down the tool he had been holding and picked up the mess in the area. The damaged component was placed into a bin, to be rescrapped with whatever parts that weren't broken. He then went back to the first desk to work on his notes for a new project...
